When you receive a payment through Modash, you’ll always need to submit an invoice billed to Modash.

If you're based in the EU, you'll also need to include some tax information on your invoice.

You have three options:

  1. Your company VAT ID

  2. Your personal tax ID

  3. A note stating “Not VAT liable” (or the equivalent in your country)

⚠️ Note: If you're using automated invoicing with Modash, your tax status is selected before the invoice is generated. In that case, you may not see the “Not VAT liable” note directly on the invoice - and that’s totally fine.

All invoices need to include the Modash VAT ID - EE102111318
